2010 FAA Worldwide Airport Technology Transfer Conference
Call for Papers and Presentations
Scope
This Technology Transfer Conference provides a unique opportunity for airport operators, aviation consultants, construction contractors, research engineers, and academic researchers to interact and exchange information. Papers and presentations are sought for all technical areas in airport pavement and airport safety technology including:
Airport Pavement
  • Airport Pavement Design and Evaluation
  • Airport Pavement Management
  • Full Scale Pavement Testing
  • Construction Materials and Methods
Airport Safety
  • Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF)
  • Runway Surface Technology
  • Visual Guidance
  • Airport Wildlife Hazards
  • Runway Incursion Reduction
  • Planning/Design for New Large Aircraft

 

In addition to technical subjects on airport technology-related research, individuals are encouraged to submit papers and presentations pertaining to case studies, practical engineering applications in the field, operational requirements, and engineering research.

Abstract Acceptance of Abstracts
Abstracts for papers and presentations should be limited to no more than 300 words that outline the objectives, technical approaches used, and results achieved

 

The Conference Technical Committee will review all abstracts/presentations submitted. Invitation notices will be sent out according to the Conference Schedule.

Abstract submission is officially closed.

Authors who do not have access to the Internet may submit a copy of their abstract to:

Review
All papers and presentations submitted will be peer-reviewed by the Conference Technical Committee. Papers and presentations accepted will be published in the conference proceedings on CD-ROM.
