CC7 North Profiler Data/Rut Depths
Straight-edge measurements were performed in accordance to ASTM E1703. Measurements were performed across two transverse profile locations within each test item. The maximum rut depth value along the full length of the beam was recorded using a dial gage. At the beginning of trafficking, prior to primary stabilization of the pavement, measurements were taken every 24th and 66th pass of the vehicle. After primary stabilization, measurements were taken after each wander (66 passes) until stabilization within the secondary zone was achieved. Finally, measurements were taken at the end of each day’s testing.
