Airport Pavement Design & Evaluation Workshop: Dr. Navneet Garg Presenting Workshop Participants Dr. Navneet Garg and Jeffrey Crislip (AAS-110) led the planning and execution of an Airport Pavement Design & Evaluation Workshop held in Nadi, Fiji, on May 20-22, 2026. They worked closely with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF) and FAA Office of International Affairs team to plan and execute a heavily attended workshop on the implementation of new Aircraft Classification Rating - Pavement Classification Rating (ACR-PCR) standards. Workshop included hands on training for designing and evaluation (PCR) of airport pavements using FAARFIELD. The workshop was attended by 26 participants from 13 countries including Fiji, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu.
